Thieves Steal 10-Ton Bridge

A gang of metal thieves managed to steal a 10-ton bridge by pretending to be hired to demolish it.
The pretty original theft was commited in the Czech Republic recently, the gang showed employees at a depot forged paperwork and told them the bridge over unused railroad tracks needed to come down.
“The thieves said they had been hired to demolish the bridge, and remove the unwanted railway track to make way for a new cycle route,” says a railroad spokesperson.
The thieves then dismantled the bridge and 650 feet of track, which the spokesperson estimates to be worth millions, the Telegraph reports. “It was only after they had gone that checks were made and we realized we’d been had,” he says.
Get real people. You shuold focus your efforts on shuttting down bars and liquor stores if you are so concerned about the health of people. Alcoholism does more damage than any casino ever could.Then you shuold go after fast food restuarants, convenience stores, candy stores and bakeries. Obesity is also a problem, there more obese people in Vancouver than there are problem gamblers.How about smoking? What are the statistics on the financial impact of smoking?As for casino revenue, are you going to provide the funding for all the charities that will lose out on money once you shut down casinos? You are going to have one heck of a bake sale to recoup that money.Do your homework, check the facts. Make sure you have a solution for the thousands of families that will lose their livelihood.
