Snooki’s baby made his magazine debut on People Magazine today. Disappointingly, he looks like a regular baby and not a giant pickle.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is somebody’s mother after welcoming her first child — a son — in a New Jersey hospital early Sunday.

The Jersey Shore star gave birth to Lorenzo Dominic LaValle at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey just before 3 a.m.

Little Lorenzo came in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces, according to Snooki’s rep. The reality star’s fiance, Jionni LaValle, was by her side for the entire birth.

MTV welcomed the tyke to the family with this message:

“Looks like the Seaside Heights house just got its latest roomie. We look forward to Lorenzo’s first trip to the Jersey Shore and can’t wait to see his first animal print onesie.”

Polizzi and LaValle, both 24, announced their engagement and the pregnancy in March. Snooki’s road to parenthood has been documented on the MTV spinoff show, Snooki and Jwoww, and will also be featured when the new season of Jersey Shore begins in October.

Snooki tweeted a photo of her growing baby bump today exclaiming ‘I’m going to burst!’

The 24-year-old has previously jokingly described herself as a pregnant whale, but seems understandably thrilled with her growing form.

As the birth of her first child nears Snooki has been starting to take life easy. Her plans today involved ‘Relaxing all day’.

Until now Snooki hasn’t let her pregnancy slow her down, working hard promoting her reality series Snooki and JWoww, attending signing sessions for her new novel and even launching a lipstick called ‘Snookilicious’.

After the birth she also has plenty of work planned, with her MTV spin-off series has been picked up for a second season.

The show will now relocate to a large house on Johnson Avenue, in Manchester, New Jersey.

Snooki is naming her baby boy Lorenzo.

“I think we’re going to go with Lorenzo,” she says. “It’s my boy, if you don’t like it, pfffft.” She also tells Z100 that it was no problem giving up drinking for the surprise pregnancy with baby daddy Jionni LaValle, saying the only time she drank anyway was on the Jersey Shore for “vacation.”

As for the pregnancy, and coming motherhood, “I’m a baby still. I’m still growing up and learning things,” says Snooki. “I feel like crap,” she explains.

Nude photos taken with a cell phone of the 24-year-old surfaced online on June 8. The photos of the Jersey Shore star, who is currently expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaValle, appear to have been taken before she became pregnant. In the pictures, Snooki is seen taking photos of herself wearing a white robe, left open to reveal her body. The photos appear to have been taken in a hotel room, as what looks like a room service tray is visible on the bed in the background.

Snooki’s rep confirmed to E! News that the photos are in fact of the reality star, telling the website, “Clearly these are old and personal photos that were not meant for the public. It’s a shame someone decided to leak them for obvious personal gain.”

The 24-year-old Jersey Shore resident shocked audiences when she announced news of her pregnancy to the world in an interview with Us Weekly in March. Now she is sitting down with In Touch Weekly to spill more beans on her baby bump: The mom-to-be and her fiance Jionni LaValle will welcome a baby boy in September.

She told the tabloid:

“Everyone said I was going to have a boy and they were right! I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”

Of course, pregnancy has come with one unforeseen consequence: A torpedoed sex drive.

“Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross. I’m so not in the mood to do stuff.”

Snooki and Jionni are deciding between two names for their son — Lorenzo or Jionni Jr.

According to reports, Snooki will not be living with her castmates at the shore house for season 6 of Jersey Shore — instead getting her own private nest nearby.

Snooki is taking her pregnancy very seriously and chose to live near the house rather than in it because it’s not worth it to be surrounded by boozy, loud roommates while pregnant.

Snooki announced her pregnancy back in February — when she was already 3 months along — which means she will be almost due by the time they film this summer.

The guidette’s absence is just another in a slew of “Shore” changes this year which includes a sober Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and the possibility of adding a Snooki-baby to the cast.

“Honestly I really didn’t know I could make a baby. So the fact I can reproduce is really scary.”

That’s what Snooki, the pint-sized and pregnant Jersey Shore star, utters in a sneak peek look at the aptly-titled Shore spinoff, Snooki and JWoww. The series will feature self-professed “guidettes” Snooki and Jenni “JWoww” Farley doing what they do best — wrecking havoc on unsuspecting sleepy communities to the glee of reality fans.

Snooki is wrong all around, meanwhile JWoww is getting hotter by the minute.
