So that little mysterious one-day trip Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson took to Mexico? Yeah, well sounds like it got pretty steamy.

The duo spent a day at the luxurious Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas, and word has it there was some major PDA.

“They were acting like teenagers in love and were all over each other,” a source tells Us. “Kissing a lot and chain smoking.”

The rumored new couple stayed in a $4,000-a-night suite, and didn’t come out of the ocean-front suite until 2 PM the next day. Hmm…

ScarJo and Penn indulged that afternoon during lunch at the hotel’s restaurant, where had three margaritas and a shrimp cocktail, and the gentleman had three pina coladas and some lobster. Guess they had much more than food on their mind: the two reportedly retreated back to their room for three hours before taking a private jet back to Los Angeles.

Lindsay Lohan joined Kimmel for a spoof fitness advertisement that also featured some of Hollywood’s hottest actresses, including Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria, and morning show hostess Kelly Ripa.

Lindsay kept a straight face as she told viewers about a fitness regime shared by lions in the wild while pretending to promote exercise guru Jimmy K’s new workout program, Hottie Body Humpilates.

“Lions spend their days hunting and their nights humping. Lions hump upwards of 40 times a night. I’ve spent thousands of hours watching them, so I know,” Lohan quipped, before adding: “The Jimmy K programme is so affordable, it’s practically a steal. Allegedly.”

The statement was a not-so thinly-veiled hit at the most recent courtroom drama playing out for the trouble-prone 24-year-old. The Mean Girls star is mulling a plea deal that includes a six month jail term after she was slapped with a felony grand theft charge for “allegedly” making off with a necklace — valued at $2,500 — from a Venice jewelry shop last month.

Scarlett Johansson is reportedly dating Sean Penn. The 26-year-old actress is said to be “smitten” with the 50-year-old actor, and apparently they first got cozy in January when she was filming We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon in New York.

A source told the new issue of Us Weekly magazine: “Their first hook-up was in Scarlett’s Bungalow. She is smitten with him.”

Scarlett – who split from husband Ryan Reynolds in December after two years of marriage – and Sean began their friendship when she was planning to fly out to Haiti to help people affected by the two earthquakes in January 2010.

The source added: “Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam. She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice.”

Although she didn’t end up going on the trip she and actor, who is spending most of his free time on the Caribbean island, where he has been undertaking charity work since the disaster – are said to have developed feelings for each other.

Sean was previously married to Madonna, while his divorce from actress Robin Wright – mother of his two children Dylan, 19, and Hopper, 17 – was finalized in July after 14 years of marriage.

Jessica Biel thinks Scarlett Johansson is so devastated over her soon-to-be ex-hubby Ryan Reynolds giving love a second chance with pal Sandra Bullock that she’ll seek comfort in the arms of Justin Timberlake.

Word on the Curb has it that ScarJo has been crying on the shoulder of JT — who she allegedly briefly dated in 2007 — ever since her two year marriage to Reynolds crumbled in December. The Social Network star’s playing the role of “Supportive Friend” to less than critical acclaim from his longtime galpal Jessica Biel, who we hear is petrified that Scarlett will try to get Mr. SexyBack back now that’s she’s single.

“Scarlett was hot and heavy with Justin right before falling for Ryan and now that Scarlett and Ryan are divorcing, Jessica was terrified the former lovers will pick up right where they left off. After all, he dated Jessica and Scarlett simultaneously at one point,” a motormouthed tipster tells The National Enquirer’s Mike Walker.

“Jessica’s always looked the other way and given Justin his space when he needed it. They’d be apart for a while, then get back together. But now she’s worried that’s all going to change with newly-single Scarlett back in the picture.”

Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are calling time on their romance after just two years of marriage.

Sources say ScarJo and Reynolds separted amicably earlier this month after the Tony-winning actress grew increasingly fed-up with the spouses long-distance union. The couple’s work commitments have kept them apart since filming on Ry’s superhero blockbuster, The Green Lantern, got underway earlier this fall.

“They are being very civil about it,” an insider divulges. “The big problem with their relationship is the distance. They spent a lot of time apart when they are working…She’s been unhappy for a while.”

In a joint statement issued Tuesday, they couple say: “After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”

The lovers, who were rarely photographed together, began dating 2007 and announced their engagement the following year. Johannson, 26, and Reynolds, 34, tied the knot in a remote wilderness retreat in Ryan’s native Canada in Sept. 2008.

Ryan and Scarlett’s split comes on the heels of a tough 2010 for some of Hollywood’s longest unions. The year has ended in Splitsville for David Arquette and Courteney Cox, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman, and most recently Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.

Can life get much better for Ryan Reynolds? After all, he’s married to Scarlett Johansson, who was recently named GQ’s “Babe of the Year.”

Oh, yes it can. People magazine has bestowed its “sexiest man alive” title on the 34-year-old actor.

Reynolds is about to star on-screen as the Green Lantern. The Canadian native told People: “The sexiest thing about Canadians is that there’s an inherent ability to be self-deprecating. That has served me well in my career and personal life.”

It’s the 25th anniversary of People’s first sexiest man — Mel Gibson. Others given the title include John F. Kennedy Jr., Harrison Ford and Richard Gere. George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp have won it twice.

Sandra Bullock wants everyone to know she’s not dead—and to prove it, she planted a hot smooch right on Scarlett Johansson’s kisser at the MTV Movie Awards last night.

“I love what I do. I’m not going anywhere,” the Oscar-winning actress vowed after collecting the Generation Award and receiving a standing ovation. Then she set the record straight—about the paparazzi and the wrong, wrong, wrong gossip reports about her, notes USA Today. “Everybody has cellulite, not just me,” she quipped.

The “paparazzi need more flattering lenses.” Then she made out with Johansson on stage. “Now that we’ve done that,” she smiled, “can we please go back to normal? Because therapy is really expensive.”
