Sherlyn Chopra has made history as the first Indian woman to appear in Playboy… too bad the magazine is banned in her country where many aren’t exactly thrilled about her appearance

“Isn’t it an irony that on the one side, as common women strive hard to safeguard their modesty, the Sherlyn Chopra encourage voyeurism?” wrote one commentator.

Chopra, a Bollywood star, is predictably proud of her spread, which will appear in the November issue. “I have become the first Indian to pose naked for Playboy, and nobody can take away that achievement from me,” the 28-year-old told BBC Hindi. “It is not an easy task to be nude in front of the camera and look good at the same time.”

Jenny McCarthy appeared naked on the cover of the July/August issue of Playboy Magazine just months before turning 40.

This will be the seventh time McCarthy has modeled for the magazine. “I’m really proud of it,” she tells People. “The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They’re really elegant.”

The New York Daily News notes that the 8-page spread comes almost 20 years after her first appearance in the magazine in 1993; she was named Playmate of the Year soon after and has appeared in six pictorials and on five covers before this issue.

E! News confirms that the soon-to-be 40-year-old actress is returning to show off her goods on the cover of the men’s mag, along with a nude pictorial for the July-August issue that hits newsstands June 29.

The Love in the Wild star seems to be pretty excited about the upcoming project, saying: “All I wanted to do [when she began in the industry] was work with my clothes on, and now I just hope to get them off!”

McCarthy first posed for Playboy in 1993 for $20,000, earning herself  the title of Playmate of the Month and later, Playmate of the Year.

Meghan McCain, daughter of former presidential candidate John McCain, has done a tell-all interview with Playboy Magazine.

In it, the political pundit and blogger discusses lesbian rumors as well as her love for certain aspects of female-male relationships, and Jack and Coke.

McCain admits that while her dad may have been a good candidate, she doesn’t think she’s suited for the role of first daughter. She says:

“You would have the craziest first daughter ever, who’d be making ridiculous headlines and hurting the administration every step of the way.”

On the rumors that Meghan has sapphic tendencies, she says:

“I’m not a lesbian, if that’s what you’re asking. I’d be the first person to tell the world I was gay. I’m not private about anything. I think you should live how you should live. But I’m strictly dickly. I can’t help it. I love sex and I love men.”

On the subject of conservative values, McCain says she’s not opposed to being a bit racy like another famous conservatives- the blonde pundit dishes:

“…showing a little cleavage can make a girl feel sexy too. Like Jessica Simpson says, if you got it, you should flaunt it once in a while.”

The Lindsay Lohan Playboy issue is big news people, BIG NEWS! So much, that CNN had staffers call each magazine selling location to determine availability, with many stores revealing that they wouldn’t have more copies available until Monday morning.

The cover and photo spread was a gamble for Playboy and founder Hugh Hefner after she was paid a sum reported to be in the vicinity of $700,000 to $1 million.

In a message posted on Hefner’s Twitter account on Sunday he tweeted:

“The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records.”

Another spokesman for Playboy also echoed sentiments that the issue is “selling very well.”

Lohan accepted the photo shoot after her acting career quickly fizzled following various run-ins with the law over the last four years, run-ins that included DUI’s and theft of expensive jewelry. Many insiders believe she needed the money to keep the lifestyle she’s accustomed to.

The Playboy photo shoot wasn’t without it’s own issues, namely the fact that Hugh after seeing the first photo spread called Lohan back into his officers to re-shoot the entire spread, a shoot they say channels Marilyn Monroe (you can check some pictures here)

One week before it’s slotted to come out on stands, Lindsay Lohan’s much talked-about Playboy photos have surfaced online — 11 photos of a nude Lindsay Lohan in all her naked glory.

TMZ reports that the Playboy execs are “freaking out” — justly so, given Hugh Hefner’s reported $1 million price tag for the Lindsay Lohan-meets-Marilyn Monroe photo shoot. The troubled 25-year-old actress was set to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on December 15th to officially unveil her Playboy cover.

Here’s a first look at Lindsay Lohan’s naked Playboy shoot after the cover of the magazine was leaked.

No stranger to scandal herself, LiLo hid her assets behind a Playboy bunny chair in a nod to the pose struck by Keeler — notorious for her role in the Profumo affair.

The front page of the glossy was leaked a week before she was set to reveal it on Ellen DeGeneres’s US chat show. It shows a tastefully shot Lindsay with bright red lipstick and long curly hair. But the pictures inside promised a lot more flesh and a tribute to movie star Marilyn Monroe.

Mag owner Hugh Hefner commented: “It’s a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. Classy, very classy.”

Hugh Hefner apparently assumes you think of Lindsay Lohan’s vagina when you think ‘classy’, because he assures The Insider that Lohan’s spread is “classy. Very classy.” (And is she, as rumored, completely naked? “Oh yes.”)

Her rep also said yesterday—with no apparent trace of irony—that the pictorial in the January/February issue is “very tasteful,” and that the accompanying interview “will let readers see another side of Lindsay,” People reports.

Hef, who Page Six notes extended the shoot when the initial photos failed to impress him, also added that the photos were inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
