Miranda Kerr confirms she is leaving Victoria’s Secret, but not because she’s ‘difficult to work with’ as first reported but because she is just over it.

Kerr tells the Sydney Morning Heraldthat that her upcoming 30th birthday had her ready for a change of pace.

“The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13,” Kerr tells the paper. “I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

And those new priorities include managing her Kora Organics beauty line and other upcoming projects. “I’ve reached a point in my career where I’m developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions,” she says, adding that she is too busy to make major commitments — like Victoria’s Secret contracts. “I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It’s three months at a bare minimum.”

What? Wait… really? Noooo!!!!!

It seems to be true… uber hottie Miranda Kerr is no longer a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

US Magazine says Kerr, 30, is being let go as an Angel after her $1 million, three-year contract “was not renewed.” The reason for the sudden split? One source tells Us that Kerr “has a difficult reputation.”

“They can still use her for catalogue, where she will get a day rate, but she doesn’t have to be an Angel to do that.”

Executives from Victoria’s Secret did not deny that Miranda Kerr’s contract was not renewed.

But not all is lost: Victoria’s Secret’s chief marketing officer Ed Razek has already invited her to walk in their 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“We have no plans to stop working with her,” he said.
