It’s official: Lindsay Lohan has a new sister.

A paternity test has proved that Michael Lohan fathered a daughter during an extramarital affair 17 years ago. The revelation came during a dramatic appearance on The Trisha Goddard Show on Thursday.

In 2008, Kristi Horn went public with her claim that her daughter Ashley, now 17, is the product of an affair she had with Michael in the mid-90s, something he has long denied.

He avoided taking the test for four years, according to the Horns.

“While I am sorry this took so long, we finally have the answer, we are all okay with it and we will deal with it in the best way!” Lohan said after the paternity test results went public.

Michael shares four children with Dina, including troubled actress Lindsay and aspiring model Ali. In addition to Ashley, he is expecting a sixth child with ex-tabloid reporter and sometime fiancee Kate Major, 29.

The Lohan circus continues as Michael Lohan takes a paternity test to determine if his alleged lovechild — Ashley Horn — is truly his daughter.

And because this people don’t believe in making things privately, Lohan will find out the results of the paternity test and meet Ashley for the first time on Thursday’s edition of Trisha Goddard, producers said Monday

Wow, this has to be some kind of a record: Just hours after the world’s worst celebrity dad was released from a Tampa jail, he was arrested again.

Michael Lohan had been jailed on domestic violence charges related to his ex-girlfriend Kate Major. Early this morning, Major called 911 to report a harassing phone call from Lohan; he called again after police arrived at her home, and she put him on speaker phone.

The calls violated Lohan’s pre-trial release order (Radar notes that the judge had told him, “You even dream of [Major] and you’re going to jail.”), so cops went to his hotel—where, they say, he jumped off a third-floor balcony in an attempt to evade them. Best detail: TMZ reports he landed in a tree. He made a pit stop at a hospital with a possible broken foot before heading back to jail.

Michael Lohan’s ex-girlfriend and Mel Gibson’s Oksana Grigorieva should form some kind of support group.

Lohan’s ex told police he flipped out and threatened to kill her because “she wouldn’t give him a ‘blow job’”, this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.

According to TMZ, Lohan’s ex, Kate Major, told police Michael came over to her Tampa apartment last night, when he began to yell at her about an upcoming domestic violence court hearing. Major claims the argument got heated … and Lohan got violent.

Major claims Lohan pushed her multiple times and squeezed her arms. She claims Mike also told her he would “slit both his wrist and her wrist. He also threatened to throw her off the balcony (4th floor).”

Kate says Michael threw a TV  remote control at her … but he missed, so he smashed her cell phone.

Major also told police Lohan came over to her apartment the night before … and they got into an argument that turned physical. Major says she threatened to call police, but Michael banged his head on a door, causing his forehead to bleed and warned that if cops came over, he would blame her for the injury.

Major told cops she regretted not calling police at the time, but insists “she was scared.”

It was only a week ago that Michael Lohan was booked on one count of suspicion of domestic violence following an alleged altercation with ex-girlfriend Kate Major. Though the former tabloid reporter is the third ex-girlfriend to accuse the ex-con of battery, Michael’s back to doing lip service with a new lass.

On Wednesday, Lohan, 50, Tweeted several snaps of himself with new girlfriend, Bernadette.

“Bernadette is a nurse who I met at the beach in Florida. I’m here with her now, but after I get back to Los Angeles, she’s coming up to New York with me…Bernadette is the total opposite of Kate: She is smart, doesn’t drink or smoke and is in great shape. Finally, a down-to-earth person who hates tabloids!” Michael says.

Major filed a report with the Sheriff’s Department claiming she and Michael got into a physical altercation after an argument, which resulted in a misdemeanor charge filed against him last week. He’s due in court May 23 and faces up to one year behind bars if convicted.

Lindsay Lohan has been reunited with her estranged father Michael as the former patriarch of the clan faces an arrest warrant in his native New York, tipsters tell RadarOnline.com.

The actress and dad Michael enjoyed a reunion at the Betty Ford Clinic in Palm Springs, where Lindsay is under court order to receive treatment for addiction to drugs and alcohol. Sources close to Lindsay say it was her idea to meet with Michael, although the cocaine-addicted former child star has been vocal in her assertion that her struggles with addiction are at least partially attributable to her long troubled relationship with him.

“Lindsay met Michael at Betty Ford and the pair spent hours together… it was not a fleeting encounter, this appeared well-planned in advance,” squeals a spy.

“It was an emotional reunion,” Radar’s informant adds. “There were hugs, kisses and even a few tears when Michael and Lindsay first saw each other…They also went shopping at a local Palm Desert mall, where they were seen walking around together and at one point, were in a jewelry store…..He is prepared to do anything to get it right this time.”

Michael refused to talk about their meeting, but did say the that star, 24, is doing well. Meanwhile, Michael’s found himself in a bit of a pickle of his own. A judge in Suffolk County, New York has issued a warrant for his arrest stemming from a legal case with a Montana woman who alleges Michael fathered a daughter with her 15 years ago.

Kristi Kaufmann sued Michael in 2008 and won an uncontested judgment because Michael never opposed the baby claim. Lohan says he was unaware of the warrant and believes it is because he was a day late making his second child support payment to Kaufmann. He’s adamant that once he makes the installment the warrant will be withdrawn.

Lohan told TMZ.com that he was late ponying up the child support because of the Nov. 2 mid-term elections.

“…I did send it, and I have receipts. So because I was a couple of days late, they issued a warrant. How sick.”

Michael Lohan wants to open an addiction treatment facility in Pasadena, California, and he’s in the process of finalizing the details.

He said: “The rehab will treat only women, not men. I’m working on fine tuning the therapists and doctors but the financing is in place and it’s going to be very religiously oriented.

“I’ll be running it and it is backed by a really well-known person.”

Though the showbiz patriarch declined to name who his backer is, it has been speculated that it may be celebrity doctor Drew Pinsky, as he films his show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in Pasadena.

Michael, who has repeatedly claimed his 24-year-old daughter Lindsay is addicted to prescription medication, also vowed to look for alternative methods to treat patients.

He told RadarOnline.com: “I don’t believe in prescription drugs. If people come in on them they’re going to have to get off of them, otherwise they’ll be looking for another rehab.

He said recently: “I’m not going to close my doors on anyone. We may offer a scholarship to those in need. You don’t have to be Lindsay Lohan or Nicole Richie or Robert Downey Jr. or a celebrity to get rehab.”
