Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have welcomed a new little girl to join their other two kids.

Camila gave birth on Friday in the couples hometown of Austin, Texas. The McConaughey’s are already proud parents to Levi, 4, and Vida, 3.

While no specific details were given about the birth of the baby, Camila had joked during her pregnancy that she has gained pregnancy weight, while Matthew has dramatically lost weight, preparing to play an upcoming role of Ron Woodruff, who contracts the HIV virus.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, who got married less than a month ago, announced that they are expecting their third child together.

McConaughey tweeted a birthday message to America along with making the announcement about their new child. “Happy birthday America, more good news, Camila and I are expecting our 3rd child. God bless, just keep livin.”

Camila also made the same announcement to her followers just moments before Matthew. They are already the proud parents to Vida, 2½, and son Levi, who turns 4 this week.

The actor and the Brazilian model met at a Los Angeles bar in 2006. They are the parents of two: son Levi and daughter Vida.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, had a very special Christmas last night. The actor popped the question to the Brazilian model while the two, who have been dating for five years and have two children together, celebrated Christmas.

McConaughey posted the news on his Whosays account. The actor posted a picture of him and Camilia kissing in front of a Christmas tree with the message “just asked Camila to marry me. Merry Christmas.”

McConaughey fans have been expecting to hear wedding bells for a while. Last March, the actor told Esquire Magazine that he knew Camila was “the one.” He said:

“I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together.”

McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 28, have been dating since 2006. They have two children together; Levi, 3, and Vida, 1. When Levi was born, the actor tole People Magazine:

“I always wanted to be a father. It just took the right woman and the right time to make it happen. [Alves] is the love of my life. Everything is right.”

The 41-year-old actor has developed his own version of the margarita, which is traditionally made with tequila mixed with triple sec and lime or lemon juice, and he likes to quench his thirst with one at the end of the day.

He is quoted as saying, “I have my own version of the margarita: tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and tonic water, topped off with cranberry juice.”

Matthew, who has three-year-old son Levi and 15-month-old daughter Vida with his partner Camila Alves, says his favorite time to make his ‘McConaughey margarita’ is when he is cooking in the kitchen. Just as he has his own cocktail, the ‘Tropic Thunder’ star has created his own special barbecue sauce.

He revealed, “I like to whip it up when I’m doing my special barbecue sauce for steak. It satisfies the taste buds in time for the meat. I love being in the kitchen and cooking generally – it fuels my soul man!”

It’s a girl for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.

The couple welcomed daughter Vida Alves McConaughey at 12:13 a.m. Sunday, the actor posted on his Web site. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz, and joins big brother Levi, 17 months.

McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, “We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows.”

The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however.

“Not sure if it’s a boy or girl but we have our instincts,” he wrote. “What are you thinking?”

Wonder if their instincts proved correct.
