There’s no more delaying it: Lindsay Lohan is officially back in rehab. Her lawyer says she’s checked in, but, because we are talking about Lindsay and stuff like this is what makes her life what it is, it’s not clear the judge will actually accept the placement.

Prosecutors need to sign off on the facility and didn’t have time to investigate it and do so, so the judge gave them until next Friday to make a decision. Until then, the judge said, Lohan should stay at the facility… and to make matters even more Lohan: The facility’s license has been revoked.

Lohan was supposed to check in to a New York facility, but got upset when she learned it has a no-smoking policy. That’s apparently what prompted her to switch to the as-yet-unapproved California facility.

Lindsay Lohan was on Letterman last night, but instead of talking about Scary Movie 5 the conversation pretty much focused on her recent troubles and upcoming stint in rehab

“How many times have you been in rehab?” Letterman asked. “Several,” said an uncomfortable Lohan. Letterman continued undaunted: “And how will this time be different? What are they rehabbing, first of all? What is on their list? What are they going to work on when you walk through the door?” Joked Lohan, “We didn’t discuss this in the pre-interview.”

She eventually opened up, and even teared up as Letterman complimented her for having enough “spine” to come back on the show after all the jokes he’s made about her.

“I think, to be honest, I’m the happiest when I’m working and the healthiest, and I think this an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life. And I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing … and not a curse.”

On related news, a California judge recently ordered Lohan to 90 days in rehab, 18 months of psychological counseling and 30 days of community service, the International Business Times reported.

It looks like Lindsay Lohan is planning to live it up before she gets locked in rehab for 90 days.

Her pre-rehab plan? A week with Charlie Sheen in LA, then she wants to go to Brazil. At least that’s what a source told the New York Post. Two of her days with Sheen will be spent filming a guest spot on his Anger Management series… the rest of the week? Who knows.

Sheen plays a therapist on the show, and Lohan will play “a patient who falls in love with him,” her lawyer confirms. Lohan must check in to rehab by May 2, but she hasn’t chosen a facility yet, her attorney tells E!, and she may not end up in New York after all.

After pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to authorities, Lohan, 27, is headed to rehab once again.

The former Disney princess originally told authorities that her former assistant, Gavin, had been behind the wheel at the time of crash. Witness accounts, on the other hand, fingered the former “Mean Girl” as the driver.

She must serve 90 days in rehab, perform 30 days of community labor and undergo psychotherapy for 18 months as part of the plea deal. Additionally, LiLo will pay a $240 restitution fine and a $30 criminal conviction assessment fee.

Lindsay Lohan kind of caught a break after accepting a plea deal that will send the troubled actress into a locked rehab facility for 90 days… which is not totally like jail.

The sentence stems from a June 18, 2012 car accident, in which Lohan’s Porsche rear-ended a truck on a Los Angeles freeway as she traveled to the set of the critically-panned Lifetime movie, Liz and Dick.

Lindsay originally claimed that she hadn’t been driving and that her assistant Gavin was in fact behind the wheel at the time of the accident. After receiving conflicting reports from eyewitnesses, police determined that Lohan had been the driver, prompting the District Attorney to slap the star with one misdemeanor count each of reckless driving, providing false information to an officer and willfully resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer.

Lindsay — who remains on probation for a 2011 shoplifting charge — has also been ordered to 30 days of community service and has to complete 18 months of psychotherapy.

… Now that I think about it, maybe jail time would have been better.

It looks like Charlie Sheen has a soft spot for wacko hoes in need because rumor has it that he’s planning on giving train-wreck Lindsay Lohan a job… and that’s besides the $100,000 he already gave her to pay off her debts.

TMZ is reporting that LiLo still owes the IRS over $100,000 and now the State of California is coming at her, because she didn’t give them any tax money in 2011. They want over $56,000 from her. That’s when Lindsay reached out to Sheen again, only this time he is making her work for it…

… and no, we don’t mean blowjobs.
