Katherine Heigl Adopts Second Kid
Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley became parents for the second time after adopting another baby girl, Heigl’s rep confirms to Us—and that right there is all the information to be had.
With no further details available (although the National Enquirer claims the baby is from Louisiana, E! notes), tabs are relying on old quotes about adoption from Heigl, who adopted daughter Naleigh from South Korea in 2009. A sample, from Just Jared: “My feeling about adoption is, Why not? There’s nothing about it that makes it any less meaningful of a relationship in my mind.”
Katherine Heigl to adopt Korean baby
Grey’s Anatomy star and negative-publicity magnet Katherine Heigl is adopting a special-needs Korean baby.
The baby’s name is Naleigh, and she’s 10 months old. The adoption has been in the works for months, and Heigl, whose sister Meg was also adopted from Korea, and hubby Josh Kelley are “so happy,” an insider said. In 2007, Heigl told USA Today she’s “always planned” to adopt, because having your own kids “doesn’t seem like any fun,” she said.

Katherine Heigl is a pro at faking orgasms
Katherine Heigl was left ‘exhausted’ after filming her new movie The Ugly Truth – because she had to keep faking orgasms!
The actress – who stars opposite Scottish actor Gerard Butler in the flick – has a scene where her character reaches climax after mistakenly wearing a pair of vibrating pants to dinner.
Talking about filming the scene, Heigl, 30, said, “Oh, my God, it was a nightmare. It was really exhausting — legs dancing under the table and all the tensing-up of the body.
“By the end of the day, I felt like I’d run a marathon. No one wants to orgasm 35 times a day!”
Katherine recently joked that she only likes to work with good looking actors.
“I’ve got it in my contract that I only work with pretty boys,” she said. “My next movie is with Ashton Kutcher. He’s one of the fittest guys I’ve ever seen.”
T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigl leaving Grey’s Anatomy
After months of rumors that Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight may be leaving Grey’s Anatomy, costar James Pickens (“The Chief”) has added fuel to the fire.
“Yes, she is,” he told Us Weekly when asked if Heigl will exit the show. “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best.”
As for Knight, Pickens said, “He’s going too.”
The network and studio say they cannot confirm anything, and Heigl’s and Knight’s personal reps have declined to comment.
However, a well-placed ABC source tells us, “There’s no way Pickens could know that, because nothing has been decided yet. Nothing has been written and [Heigl and Knight] are still working out what will happen next season with the network.”
According to inside sources who work on Grey’s, it is likely that Heigl and Knight will make an exit at the end of the current season. Both have asked to leave the show. However, ABC needs to sign off on letting them out of their contracts, which has not been done.
So why did Pickens say they are leaving?
“I don’t think James meant to say what he did,” one insider who works on the show says of the Us Weekly interview. “I think he was thrown by the line of questioning and didn’t realize what he was saying.”
Shonda Rhimes: Izzie Stevens, you will suffer
Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, 29, withdrew herself from Emmy contention, saying that she didn’t feel she was “given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination,” but show creator Shonda Rhimes says there are no hard feelings.
“I didn’t feel insulted,” Rhimes told reporters last week in Los Angeles. “I have a wonderful working relationship with Katherine, and Izzy is one of my favorite characters. So (when I heard her comment), it was surprising.”
Rhimes added, “But Katie is an outspoken person, and I think we all knew that already.”
But according to a source, in response to Heigl’s griping, staffers are considering giving her character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, a fatal brain tumor.
“Shonda and the writers are pissed at her,” the source told the new issue of Us Weekly. “It’s their way of screwing with her. She won’t know whether she’s going to live or die.”
Katherine Heigl
Katherine Marie Heigl is an American Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated actress best known for her roles in Roswell, Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up and 27 Dresses.
When Heigl was nine, an aunt visiting the family decided to take a number of photographs of her. After returning to her home in New York, the aunt sent the photos to a number of modeling agencies, with the permission of Heigl’s parents. Within a few weeks, Heigl was signed as a child model and it all flew from there.
Heigl was once in a relationship with Roswell costar Jason Behr but that relationship ended around the time the series ended. In June 2006, she became engaged to singer Josh Kelley, whom she met on the set of his music video for “Only You.” They were married on December 23, 2007 in Park City, Utah. For their honeymoon they escaped to the plush Esperanza resort in Cabo San Lucas. In December 2007, Heigl and Kelley moved into a new home in Los Feliz, California.
At the end of 2007, Barbara Walters named Heigl one of the “The 11 Most Fascinating People of 2007 ” on an ABC/DEF program of that title. Heigl questioned her inclusion on the list, saying that in fact she is actually “quite boring…..not, just kidding, but really”.
