Everyone’s favorite porn diva Jenna Jameson claims innocence after getting charged for battery in an incident at a home in Newport Beach, California over the weekend.

The 39-year-old Jameson was the subject of a citizen’s arrest shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday. Police officials say Jenna allegedly assaulted someone who then flagged down a cop. She was later charged with battery and released on her own recognizance with a court date for a hearing on the misdemeanor charge. No injuries were reported.

After her release, Jenna took to Twitter to clear the air. She claims that a former friend broke into her house, robbed her, then accused her of the attack.

So Miley Cyrus quit Twitter and is not wearing her engagement ring after photos of her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, and January Jones showed up online.

The rumor is that Hemsworth and Jones were all over each other at a party, then were seen leaving in a car together.

You’d think Jones would jump at the opportunity to deny the whole thing if it was false… but she was recently questioned by TMZ paparazzi and didn’t deny anything.

When asked “did you hook up with Liam? Why were you and Liam photographed together in the back seat of an SUV at the Oscars?” January Jones didn’t reply and went her way.

Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash didn’t just voice the little red puppet: The multiple Emmy Award winner was the show’s “Muppet leader,” helped fix technical issues, traveled far and wide to train new puppeteers, gave life to other puppets, and worked as a director and co-executive producer, the New York Times reports.

Clash will still voice Elmo for the rest of this season and the majority of next since the show tapes way in advance; gaps in his work have been filled by temporary puppeteers who have stepped in during past Clash absences. But it’s unclear who will take over afterward.

The Elmo character will carry on, but “it’s a big transition moving on without him being part of the team,” says an insider.

Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash has resigned from “Sesame Street” in the wake of an allegation that he had sex with an under-aged youth.

In its statement Tuesday, Sesame Workshop said “the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want,” leading Clash to conclude “that he can no longer be effective in his job.”

“This is a sad day for Sesame Street,” the statement said.

As the announcement was made, a lawsuit was being filed in federal court in New York charging Clash with sexual abuse of a second youth. The lawsuit alleges that Cecil Singleton, then 15 and now an adult, was persuaded by Clash to meet for sexual encounters.

Clash, who had been on “Sesame Street” for 28 years, created the high-pitched voice and child-like persona for Elmo, a furry, red Muppet that became one of the most popular characters on the show and one of the company’s most lucrative properties.

Clash’s exit from Sesame Workshop followed a tumultuous week that began on Nov. 12 with a statement from the company that Clash had requested a leave of absence following the charge by a man in his early 20s that he had had a relationship with Clash when he was 16.

Clash denied the charge from that man, who has not been publicly identified, calling it “false and defamatory.” Days later the man recanted his charge.

I bet he’s not laughing now: Police have arrested comedian Katt Williams last night in connection with a fight at a club.

According to sources, the incident went down at Kimball’s Carnival in East Oakland around 3 AM. The details surrounding the alleged battery are unclear.

Katt was brought to a police station for questioning. He has not yet been released.

Williams is no stranger to the police — he was detained in L.A. back in October after allegedly pulling a gun on actor Faizon Love. He was released from custody without charges.

Jon Bon Jovi’s 19-year-old daughter was arrested this morning after being called to her dorm room over a report that she had allegedly overdosed on heroin.

Cops found Stephanie Rose Bongiovi alive at upstate New York’s Hamilton College, but a drug task force also found heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, police say. She and a male 21-year-old were arrested on drug possession charges

Bongiovi, the rocker’s only daughter and eldest of his four kids, was released from custody and will appear in court to face the charges.
