It looks like a third time is not a charm for Britney Spears who broke off her engagement with fiancé Jason Trawick.

The pair, who began dating in 2009, got engaged on Trawick’s 40th birthday in December of 2011.

In March 2011, The former X Factor judge, 31, opened up about the relationship with her former agent, explaining, “We’re really normal. We just like to watch movies. We work out a lot. We love to work out. We do stuff together like that. We take walks.”

Spears has two sons, Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. The couple divorced in 2006.

The brother of Kevin Federline (Spears’ ex-husband No. 2) claims that he fathered the pop star’s first son, Sean Preston. Christopher Federline also is seeking a restraining order against Spears, alleging that she stole from him, blackmailed him, and harassed him. “She is out-of-control and a maniac,” he says in the papers, as first reported by the National Enquirer.

Christopher Federline says that when he confronted Spears about swiping his Capitol One card and running up $4,500 in charges, “Britney laughed at me [and] told me my brother Kevin ruined her life. Britney made fun of me and told me I have a small penis. She also blackmailed me and told me if I tell the police that she stole my credit card, that she will tell the world I’m the true father of Sean Preston, not Kevin.”

“I do confess I slept with Britney, and I am the true father, but the public does not need to know.”

Britney Spears is back to the music video world, and I have to admit she’s looking great.

The 31-year-old singer hooked up with Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am for a new dance song, “Scream and Shout,” off Will.i.am’s upcoming album Willpower, and the pair debuted the “Scream and Shout” video on “X Factor” on Wednesday night.

Spears is seen wearing a black crop top with matching pencil skirt and gloves, and a spangled nude and black lace bodysuit.

A messy divorce and custody battle with dancer Kevin Federline followed by a torrent of negative press eventually led Britney to an emotional breakdown in 2008.

Finally, Britney Spears is catching a break: A Los Angeles judge threw out Sam Lutfi’s entire lawsuit on Thursday after attorneys for the Spears family argued that he hadn’t proven his case after six days of testimony.

Lutfi, 38, a onetime confidante of the singer, sued Britney for unpaid fees, her dad Jamie Spears for allegedly punching him, and mom Lynne Spears for purportedly defaming him in her 2008 book.

“I really thought long and hard about this,” Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera said before dismissing the case. “It’s the right thing to do.”

Jamie’s attorney Leon Gladstone said following the hearing, “We’re delighted, we feel it’s the right result.”

Lutfi, of course, said he plans to appeal.

Yesterday the magazine published these pictures of Britney Spears for their upcoming cover. She is apparently wearing a wig? I don’t know what’s going on.

Some people have even accused the magazine of photoshopping Britney’s face into someone else’s body.

Britney Spears‘s attorneys are busy working on the star’s current court case, but Britney is more focused on something slightly less serious: her hair.

The singer debuted brand new bangs on Friday afternoon, and although the fashion trend is on its way out, the style looks great on Britney’s huge forehead.

Sam Lutfi is the herpes of bad managers, he just won’t go away. Lufti is now suing Britney Spears’ parents and conservators for millions, claiming he had an agreement to get 15% of her earnings—and of course, since he was Britney’s confidante during her worst phase (remember the head shaving?), the first day of the trial yesterday included some scandalous claims.

Lutfi’s attorney told the jury that his client was trying to keep an amphetamine-loving Spears from using drugs, but lost control as she spiraled downward and was turned into a “scapegoat” and falsely accused, in Spears’ mother’s book, of drugging the pop star.

Other crazy details according to TMZ:

-When Lutfi was first hired, his lawyer said, he brought in drug-sniffing dogs to Spears’ home and they found a substance Spears admitted was likely crystal meth.
-The reason for that head-shaving incident? Lutfi claims Britney was so paranoid her hair would hold traces of the drugs she was using, she shaved it all off in an effort not to test positive and lose custody of her sons.
-Lutfi also says Brit OD’ed on amphetamines in 2008, the night she was placed on a psychiatric hold.
