Wednesday NHL odds: Phoenix Coyotes at Anaheim Ducks

Antoine Vermette, Shane Doan, Michael Stone and Keith Yandle scored for the Coyotes in regulation. The consecutive wins have moved the Coyotes from 10th in the Western Conference to fourth and pulled Phoenix within eight points of Anaheim. Sullivan also scored in the shootout for Phoenix, which has won three of four. Ryan Getzlaf had a goal, two assists and scored in the shootout, and Ryan, Corey Perry and Matt Beleskey scored for the Ducks, who have lost consecutive games for the first time this season.

The eight goals in regulation in each of the first two contests were scored in the exact same sequence. The Ducks blew leads of 1-0, 3-2 and 4-3. The Ducks, however, have won eight in a row at home and are now out for revenge as they look to continue their longest run at home since a club-record 11-game stretch in 2009-10. It’s not clear who will start in net for the Ducks. Viktor Fasth, who lost Saturday’s game, has posted a 1.23 goals-against average in winning all four home starts while Jonas Hiller has a 2.70 GAA in winning his last four in Anaheim.
