Homer Simpson Votes Romney… Regrets It (video)

New promo clips for the The Simpson’s upcoming season have been released, and we can get a glimpe of Homer’s future voting preferences…

One promo clip shows Homer casting his ballot for … Mitt Romney, but not without some regret, Politico reports. After pressing Romney’s name on a touchscreen, Homer reads that “you can now see his tax returns,” the details of which send Homer into a tizzy: “The government paid him taxes for five years.”

Homer says he’ll tell the media, but gets sucked into a scary tube that drags him all the way to a factory job in China. “Well, at least I’ve got a steady job,” he muses. Among the highlights is Homer’s rationale for voting Romney. “Barack Obama, I don’t know,” he says. “I already got one wife telling me to eat healthy. And, plus, he promised me death panels and grandpa is still alive. Mitt Romney? I hear he wears magic underpants. … On the other hand, he did invent ObamaCare.”
