Blackjack rules are mostly based around the number twenty one. That’s what you’ll always strive to reach, but keep in mind that you’ll be battling the dealer, so the real key is to best him. If you are lucky enough to land a sum of twenty one out of the gate, then you won’t even need to know your blackjack rules, at least for that particular hand. While anyone can count to twenty one, when it comes to blackjack rules and strategy, it is usually recommended that you stand when you reach seventeen.
