Miley Cyrus, 19, Engaged To Liam Hemsworth, 22

Miley Cyrus thinks “Life is beautiful,” at least that’s what she tweeted today. The reason? It looks like the former Hannah Montana star, 19, and Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, 22, are engaged to be married after three years of dating.

According to reports, Hemsworth popped the question with a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond on May 31.

“I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus told People magazine of the wedding news.

Miley and Liam — a native of Australia — met and fell in love on the set of the Nicholas Sparks rom-drama The Last Song in 2009.]

The duo first sparked rumors of an engagement back in March, when the bride-to-be starlet tweeted a picture of her “nail foundations” and conveniently failed to mention the huge diamond sitting snug on her left hand ring finger

Miles’ dad — Billy Ray Cyrus — has long lobbied for the couple to wed. An insider dished earlier this year:

“He knows they love each other and that they’re sleeping together. In his opinion, the best thing she could do would be to elope. That way, he won’t have to pay for an expensive wedding and his little girl will stop living in sin.”
