Five Years Later: Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes Divorce

You know, I think we actually had odds on this happening: People exclusively reports that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are calling it quits. And it sounds like the news is indeed true, as People has a statement from Holmes’ lawyer: “This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie’s primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter’s best interest.”

It was Holmes’ first marriage, and Cruise’s third; daughter Suri is 6.

I have to give it to them: They actually lasted longer than I expected.
