Elisabetta Canalis next in line to try taming George Clooney

George Clooney was spotted cozying up to 30-year-old Italian actress and model Elisabetta Canalis in Rome over the weekend. The 48-year-old actor reportedly enjoyed a dinner date with Canalis at a hotel in the Italian capital.

Elisabetta made her feature film debut in the 2004 American comedy Deuce Bigelow 2: The European Gigolo as the Lady in Castle. As of May 2009, Elisabetta is the new co-host of the Italian version of Total Request Live.

The eternal bachelor last dated Las Vegas cocktail waitress Sarah Larson. The couple split last summer.

George will begin shooting A Very Private Gentleman in Italy this fall.
