Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon wed partner of eight years Christine Marinoni (or as she likes to call her “a short man with boobs”) yesterday in New York.

People notes that the couple got engaged three years ago at a pro-gay-marriage rally. The two had said they wouldn’t marry until they could do so legally in their state.
